Number of systematic reviews included 9
Summary of Findings From 9 systematic reviews indexed across PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library from database inception to June 22, 2022. All 9 included systematic reviews (SRs) were assessed as critically low quality according to the AMSTAR 2 tool. Only 2 (22.2%) of the SRs explain their selection of the study designs for inclusion; none of the reviews provided a list of excluded studies with justifications, nor reported on the sources of funding for the included studies. Five reviews (55.5%) did not report prior protocols.and five reviews (55.5) or did not consider the risk of bias in primary studies when interpreting the results of the review. Four reviews (44.4%) did not use an appropriate method to assess the risk of bias.
