| Aim | To provide a comprehensive summary of systematic reviews on risk factors for cardiovascular diseases in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus indexed across PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library from database inception to June 22, 2022. |

| Summary of Findings | From 9 systematic reviews indexed across PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library from database inception to June 22, 2022. All 9 included systematic reviews (SRs) were assessed as critically low quality according to the AMSTAR 2 tool. Only 2 (22.2%) of the SRs explain their selection of the study designs for inclusion; none of the reviews provided a list of excluded studies with justifications, nor reported on the sources of funding for the included studies. Five reviews (55.5%) did not report prior protocols.and five reviews (55.5) or did not consider the risk of bias in primary studies when interpreting the results of the review. Four reviews (44.4%) did not use an appropriate method to assess the risk of bias. |
