Summary of Findings | The AMSTAR 2 assessments showed that the overall confidence in the results of all eight studies was critically low. None of the reviews explained their selection of the study designs for inclusion, provided a list of excluded studies, or reported on the sources of funding of studies. Half of the reviews did not use a comprehensive search strategy, nor accounted for risk of bias in the individual studies when interpreting/ discussing the results of the review. |
