Summary of Findings | Of the 41 SRs included in the analysis none were deemed high quality. Seven SRs (17%) were of “low” quality, while the remainder (34 SRs, 83%) were rated as “critically low”. The least reported items were: 1) 27/41 (65.8%) did not explain their selection of the study designs for inclusion in the review; 2) 37/41 (90.2%) did not provide a list of excluded studies with justifications; 3) 34/41 (82.9%) did not report on the sources of funding for the included studies; 4) 32/41 (78.0%) did not account for risk of bias in individual studies when interpreting/ discussing the results. |
