Aim To summarise and critically appraise the systematic reviews (SRs) indexed across six databases that evaluated different oral health education interventions in individuals with visual impairment and compare the outcomes across the SRs.
Level of Investigation Descriptive
Summary of Findings From seven included systematic reviews (SRs) indexed across six databases that evaluated different oral health education interventions in individuals with visual impairment and compare the outcomes across the SRs. The AMSTAR 2 assessments showed that 6 out of the 7 (85.7%) reviews were judged "critically low". None of the reviews explained their selection of the study designs for inclusion, and 6 did not report on the sources of funding for the studies.
Number of systematic reviews included 7
Number of eligible systematic reviews assessed 718
