| Aim | To assess the reporting quality (PRISMA) of systematic reviews published in Japanese in the field of physical therapy from 1984 to 2018. |
| Level of Investigation | Descriptive |
| Summary of Findings | The median score of PRISMA checklist items adequately adhered to across the included 13 included systematic reviews was 12 (range, 7–17). None of the studies adhered to the structured summary or described results of subgroup analyses. Only one review (8%) prospectively registered the protocol. Only one review (8%) described plans for subgroup analyses. The intention of bias assessment across studies was reported in only three studies (23%), and only two of these three reported the results. Only one review (8%) reported funding for the systematic review. |
