Aim To assess systematic reviews in the Library and Information Science domain for their approaches to quality assessment as well as their methodological (AMSTAR) and reporting (PRISMA) quality published up to 2014.

Summary of Findings Only 25% of included reviews assessed the methodological quality of the included studies. Only 22.5% of reviews incorporated quality assessment onto the analysis. Only 2.5% of review assessed the likelihood of publication bias.
