Lack of supplementary searches beyond databases

This problem is addressed in AMSTAR 1 (Q3), AMSTAR 2 (Q4), ROBIS (P2 D2) and MECIR (C29-C35). Supplementary search techniques to electronic bibliography checks such as hand searching of key journals, contacting experts in the field and bibliogrpahy checking of relevant studies should be considered to ensure that all relevant papers are identified.
