Summary of Findings The author highlights a number of calculation errors with regards to the mean age, gender, BMI, weight loss of patients, also follow-up duration and hypertension outcomes in a published systematic review of sleeve Gastrectomy on Hypertension published in Obesity Surgery in 2012. The author highlights that the systematic review provided study means and then estimated overall means using unweighted averages which did not incorporate study size. Differences in the reported and re-calculated weighted means are provided.
