Summary of Findings Qualitative findings from a case study attempting to demonstrate impact from a retracted Cochrane review, published in 2004, for chronically ill people using interactive programmes. Specific deficits in the review were errors in data synthesis and inappropriate meta-analysis of heterogenous trials. Authors highlighted that the initial findings from the review perseverated in the Cochrane database, and media reports long after the review had been retracted.
