Summary of Findings | From 88 included systematic reviews on bodyweight management strategies for children and adolescents indexed across Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews, MEDLINE, EMBASE, and SPORTDiscus from inception to December 2020. The median of the total AMSTAR score was 6 out of 16, with a range from 1 to 14. Three critical domain-specific items of AMSTAR 2 among the included SRs showed unsatisfactory results including: justifying deviation from their SR protocols (75%), using comprehensive literature search strategies (68.2%) and giving details of both included and excluded studies (86.4%). |
