Summary of Findings | From 3,035 self-titled systematic reviews with a single author indexed in Medline via PubMed on 18 Aug 2021. This research letter also found a rise in the absolute number of single-author systematic reviews by year. In 2000, 44 new systematic reviews with one author were indexed in Medline, compared to 225 in 2020. There was a mean increase of 6.5% (standard deviation = 17.5%) in yearly indexed single-author systematic reviews during this period. |
